Rick Saunders

Rick Saunders has spent his career in the banking world, holding positions with Pee Dee State Bank and Centura Bank before helping to organize First Reliance Bank in 1998. He is now the bank’s chief executive officer. A graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School, Saunders serves on the College of Charleston School of Business Board of Governors and the boards of the South Carolina Business Development Corporation, Florence County Sheriff’s Office Foundation, and the board of First Reliance Bank and First Reliance BancShares. He was awarded the Order of the Palmetto in 2019 and was named 2007 Business Man of the Year by the Florence Chamber of Commerce.
