Lonnie Thompson has been president of SOPAKCO Inc., a world leader in processed foods that was founded to provide rations for Allied troops during World War II, for more than 20 years. SOPAKCO has expanded its operations several times in recent years, most recently announcing a $22.8 million expansion to its Bennettsville manufacturing operation. Thompson is a member of the Research & Development Associates for Military Food and Packaging Systems Inc. Hall of Fame.
