Jean Leatherman

Jean Leatherman is the president and owner of ERA Leatherman Realty, Inc. in Florence, a company she established in 1995. Before venturing into real estate, Leatherman gained experience as a sales representative for Shelby Williams Industries. In addition to her professional and volunteer work, she holds numerous board positions, including roles with The School Foundation, MUSC Florence Medical Center, and Florence Rotary Club, and is current chairperson for Central UMC Church Council. Supporting her late husband, Sen. Hugh Leatherman's distinguished political career, she played an integral role in his campaigns, contributing to a remarkable 41 years of service in the South Carolina Senate.
